Our Story: Ron & Michelle Yovich are the majority owners of Mountain Cowboy Brewing Company and the former owners and operators of Ella J Farms – Colorado Hops. Both Ron and Michelle are Wyoming natives but have lived in Colorado now for nearly 30 years. They have two children that you might see from time-to-time in the taproom. Elizabeth (Ella) currently lives in the Washington D.C. area and is an executive with an international insurance group and Josh (J) lives in Loveland and is a project manager for a locally owned construction firm. From it’s inception in 2010, Ella J Farms was the largest commercial hops farm on the Colorado Front Range and provided hops to many local craft breweries as well as AC Golden (Coors) for their Colorado Native line of beers. The Yoviches have moved on from operating the hops farm to concentrate on running a successful coffee roastery, craft beer brewery and specialty bakery in downtown Frederick, CO with a second location coming soon in Loveland, CO (Centerra
