when our co-founders, Sam McNulty and Mark Priemer, along with Mike Foran opened McNulty’s Bier Markt — a bar designed to celebrate the best biers of Belgium right here in Cleveland! By 2007, Mike Foran became a co-founding partner as we opened our second establishment in the same building, a modern Italian eatery — Bar Cento. Our third establishment, Speakeasy, was open and operating by 2009 in the lower level. Shortly after our partners realized that the heart of their success was their love for beer and the rest was history! Enlisting the help of a new partner & renowned Brewmaster, Andy Tveekrem, the Market Garden Brewery opened in 2011 and welcomed guests from near and far. Located next door to the 100+ year old West Side Market, the original Brewpub & Restaurant serves a wide selection of award-winning beers and a chef-driven menu that changes with the seasonality of locally sourced ingredients.
