Like many professional brewers, our roots are deep in homebrew and the homebrew community. As homebrewers, we fell in love with the incredible spectrum of flavors that beer offers and aim to showcase that range at L&L. We are unapologetically geeky about fermentation, and despite pushing technical and stylistic boundaries, our beers are always balanced and delicious. Our offerings range from sessionable lagers and hoppy libations to farmhouse style saisons and blended, mixed-fermentation beers to behemoth barleywines and imperial stouts—and any other styles that may pique our interest.
Fermented Storytelling
Though we have a great appreciation for all beer styles, mixed-fermentation beers hold a special place in our hearts. So enamored with the funky side of things, we have built a separate wild-beer facility dedicated to the production of farmhouse style saisons as well as carefully blended mixed-fermentation wild beers. Our playground and barrel-aging facility, the Funkstead allows us to bring our house-cultivated cultures to life. Though the Funkstead isn’t open to the public, all of our beers (funky and clean) are available at the L&L taproom.
