The Kootenai River Brewing Company was established in 2010 and is now serving distinct beers from a tap room overlooking the iconic Kootenai River and scenic Selkirk and Purcell mountain ranges of North Idaho.

The brewery is a family style restaurant that serves lunch and dinner. Our Bar is open 7 days a week from 11:00 a.m. daily. Always on tap are house crafted brews: American Pilsner, a light beer with a mild malt flavor; Huckleberry Wheat, a local and regional favorite with Huckleberry undertones; Grizzly IPA, an ale with a full hop flavor and citrus undertone; and Porter, a bold dark ale with chocolate undertones. KRBC’s Award winning McGregor Scottish Ale is on tap with a malty, rich and dominantly caramel flavor and aroma. We have seasonal, special brews on tap that vary during the year and by the season. All of our beer is brewed with a combination of locally grown North Idaho Hops, as well as hops from around the globe; fresh Selkirk Mountain creek water, and local malt barley pending availability.
The restaurant serves burgers, sandwiches, wraps, salads, and fish & chips for lunch and dinner, as well as Florentine Fettuccine Alfredo, Smoked Baby Back Ribs and House Smoked Pulled Pork. Our wild caught Alaskan Sockeye Salmon is shipped direct from Bristol Bay, served in several different dishes, is a local favorite! There is usually a daily special and great appetizers to choose from. Our on of a kind Beer cheese soup is served every day, as well as a delicious Seafood Chowder each Friday. The brewery hosts Friday night live music and accommodates summer beer garden events with B-B-Q and music, as well as seasonal parties and family gatherings.
