Hazelwood Brewing is a Family Owned and Operated Brewery. A long time dream of brewer and owner Matt Rodgers. The passion for craft for more than a decade lead to the opening of Hazelwood Brewing. The collection of equipment over the past seven years and the by hand buildout over the past 2 years has lead to the current Hazelwood in a converted boiler room in the Old Mill in Lexington. The boiler room sat empty since 1963 where it sat abandoned until the Summer of 2017. The buildout was done by hand and most of the materials were appropriated from the Hazelwood farm operated by the Rodgers family and salvaged from the building itself.
