The name is rooted in the oldest known tree in Wisconsin, a 1315-year-old Red Cedar, that sits just behind the property. That namesake drives our philosophy; we hold a symbiotic relationship with nature and the local community.
At Gnarly Cedar we are surrounded by cropland & the beauty of the Niagara Escarpment. A reminder of place and the farmers that support the core of the brewery. We embrace the outdoor life, and the freedom that comes with the exploration of your passions. We love clean and refreshing beers that keep you coming back, and often find that simplicity in the recipe prevails.
