Opening its doors in 2005, Dry Dock Brewing Company was the first craft brewery in Aurora. It was the result of the community that came out of a homebrew shop and sister company, The Brew Hut.
It all started in 1995, with the opening of The Brew Hut. Co-owners Kevin DeLange and Michelle Reding expanded the tiny homebrew shop’s “experimental” homebrew batches, by cutting a hole in the wall into the recently vacated space and converted it into a 900 square foot microbrewery right next door! Dry Dock Brewing Co. was born as seven BBL brewery and tasting room for their homebrew customers to enjoy.
