I never really got the chance to be a homebrewer. In April of 2014, I brewed my first successful cider, by the summer my first beer. Most of what was made was given away or traded, in fact we never dreamed of opening a cidery or brewery, this was someone else’s dream that eventually became ours. By August of that year, I was preparing a business plan for a Cidery/Brewery/Taphouse which would be the first of its kind in South Carolina.
