Coming from a family of carpenters with backgrounds in mechanics and ironwork, cousins Zack and Chad Christofferson opened Cain Reaction Brewing Company in 2014. “With the love of these trades the need to create was always a must and that is what brings us to this point of wanting to share our beers with the public,” their Facebook says. And create they do. With sixteen beers on tap, they experiment with all different styles. The taproom features an open floor plan that lets you see the brewing at work. Much of the brewery’s tables and wood decor is made of beetle-kill wood from a sawmill in Tabernash. Tap room events include trivia, brewery boot camp, live music and more.
