About Us

My name is Alejandro Lagunes Gallina,  I am the owner and CEO of Cerveceria Mexus LLC.

Many years ago, when I was very young, I came to this country with one goal, to realize the American Dream. At the time, I had different dreams, and I knew this country would offer me a great opportunity realize them, to do the things that I love, and have success doing it.

Now living in Wisconsin, I’ve learned how to deal with the harshest of winter conditions, and I long for the warmth and beauty of Mexico. I travel to Mexico as much as I can, and when I go, I visit with friends and family, go sightseeing, and eat as if I have never eaten before! Those meals are often accompanied by a delicious Mexican beer. 

Every time I come back, I wish I could bring a little of that flavor with me and share it with my family and friends here in Wisconsin.  That is when I realized I needed to develop a beer that brings me back to those memories of the unique Mexican restaurants, and that all the heritage that fills my heart.

I believe that I’ve accomplished this when I created Cheve.
