Brass Brewing Co. is a veteran-owned and operated craft brewery in downtown Colorado Springs. Owners Wayne (Woody) and Kellee Briggs, Ohio State and West Point graduates respectively, served in the U.S. Army while Assistant Brewer Kevin Glaspie served in the U.S. Marine Corps. After the Army, Woody continued his service as a Colorado State Patrol Trooper for 7 years. They are joined by long-time brewer Michael Johnson to create a team as passionate about running a first-rate brewery serving great beer as giving back to the community. Even before opening, Brass has committed to donating 1% to veteran and law enforcement-serving nonprofits.
