Established in 2013, Bluebonnet Beer Company is the materialization of a dream nearly 10 years in the making. The husband and wife team of David and Clare Hulama work out of a tiny brewery in Round Rock, Texas with one goal in mind – To share flavorful, award-winning craft beers with you, our family, friends, and community.
David is a long-time, award-winning homebrewer who holds a degree in Biology from the University of Texas at Austin. He also earned the Diploma in Brewing (Dipl.Brew) accreditation from the Institute of Brewing and Distilling in London after successfully completing the Master Brewers Program at the University of California at Davis, making him one of the few formally educated brewers in Texas. Clare is a sales and marketing professional of over 20 years where she honed her craft of relationship selling in retail as well as the tech sector. While each has their area of expertise, they work together to brew, package and distribute every drop of Bluebonnet beer. If you come by the brewery tap room on the weekends, you will likely see their family and friends pitching in to run the bar, kitchen, or wash the glassware. It truly is a family business!
Look for Bluebonnet Beers in finer establishments in and around the Round Rock area. If your favorite restaurant, bar or store doesn’t carry Bluebonnet, ask for it!
