Trevor Nearburg, a native Texan, grew up camping all over West Texas and the Austin hill country. His love of nature greatly influenced his passion for brewing. After seven years in the industry, he began working on Beerburg as a place to enjoy Texas’ beauty and to experiment with the native plants he grew up surrounded by. Unfortunately, hops don’t grow in Texas. While all Beerburg’s other brewing ingredients are sourced from Texas, the Wildcraft Series specifically focuses on plants foraged from all over Texas and will delight anyone looking for a true taste of Texas terroir.
