Welcome to Alchemy Brewing – We’re a bar, restaurant and brewery situated in Brunswick East VIC.
Alchemy began as an idea whilst relaxing in the yard drinking delicious home brew and dreaming grand dreams. Some years later, we mustered the courage and found a suitable site for our venture – the dilapidated corner building that had housed Cleggs Haberdashery for some 35 years.
With a good measure of optimism (and a little delusion!) we decided to do the entire renovations ourselves…. After a year of blood, sweat and tears (lots of tears!) we transformed this dark, dirty, ugly mess of a space (think purple walls & carpet on tiles flooring) into the bright, airy and spacious venue it is now.
