Rooted in the soil of South Dakota, we began growing hops in 2012 on the same land our great grandfather built his homestead on in 1882. We are proud to be an independent, family-owned hop farm and farmhouse brewery. A Homestead Brew embraces a field to glass approach utilizing hops we grow on our farm and fresh, locally sourced fruit and honey.
We focus on barrel-aged living sours and spontaneous fermentation beer. A Homestead Brew is a welcoming place for all to enjoy some of the best local ingredients the area has to offer.
