It all started with a home-brew kit that Brian, President and Brewmaster of 2 Row Brewing, was given by his wife DeDe for Christmas in 2010. It seemed like a fun one-time activity, but as is the case with many homebrewers, he was hooked and soon after found himself reading every book about homebrewing he could find. Many weekends were spent taking over the kitchen to make batches of home brew. It never really dawned on Brian how good his beer had become until he started sending it to homebrew competitions and winning awards in just about every category he entered.
After a few years, that beer kit had evolved into a top-notch garage home brewery as Brian continued his pursuit for the “Perfect Beer.” Then on one fateful day while scanning through brewery equipment for sale online, he came across a listing for a very reasonably priced three barrel brewhouse with six barrel tanks for sale in Georgia. Instead of moving on and thinking “maybe someday”, he made the call and booked a flight to Atlanta.
