Whittier Brewing Company is Whittier’s first brewery and tap room.
Started in 2010 by Whittier Locals John Kennedy and Ed Hernandez brewing beer on a porch less than 5 minutes away from where the brewery is now.
Whittier Brewing Company finally opened it’s doors in December 2019 in the historic Nixon Plaza in the heart of Uptown Whittier.
With each beer we brew we remember our commitment to craftsmanship, innovation and education to make our patrons and community proud.
Our Goal is to make our taproom a landmark and gathering place for families, friends and our neighbors in the community. We want to create a welcoming atmosphere, knowledgeable staff and some incredible food options.
Our promise to our community is to remain grateful to be doing what we love. We aim to share and foster that love with an ever-widening community, and give back to the community that supports us.
