Skyline started in 2002 with our shared love for home brewing and culinary experiments — you know, Sundays-over-the-stove stuff. And then one of us thought out loud, “Hey … you think we could do this for work?” A little market research and a lot of dreams later and the Skyline Hop Shop was born in 2014.
But the ideas and customers kept coming, and we soon expanded to form the Skyline Trading Company: a restaurant, craft beer and wine bar, bakery, and home-brew supply store in Westfield, MA. In no time, we outgrew that space and had to admit, “alright … we’re gonna need a bigger boat.”
And today, bigger it is: a 4,500 square foot restaurant, tasting room, and ten-barrel brewery overlooking the rolling hills of Western Mass. But here’s the part we’re most proud of: yeah, our little dream may have gotten a lot bigger than we ever expected (thank you!!), but ultimately we’re still three people huddled over the stove, testing new dishes, brewing new recipes, and sharing it all with whomever walks in the door.
