FrinGe Brewing

AN OBSESSION

Scot White & Jeff Lazzari worked together in the food & beverage Industry for a few years & have maintained a friendship more than 15 years since first working behind the same bar. For decades, Scot had been an avid homebrewer, and starting in the 2010’s his brewing started to become an obsession. It wasn’t too long before that obsession became an idea to open his own brewery, and the idea for Fringe was born. Scot knew there was only one man to partner up with, and that man was Jeff, who was equally obsessed…with drinking beer.

A CONCEPT

While hanging out with some brewers back east, Scot told them about his plans to open his own brewery. When they asked where it would be, he told them where Bellingham was located, and about the great craft beer scene in Whatcom county. “That’s way out on the Fringes of society” they commented, and the seed was planted; Fringe Brewing: a brewery named for it’s location at the very edge of the continental U.S. and the outskirts of the Bellingham beer scene.
