Jeff and Heather Hardesty partnered with long-time Cugino’s owners, Ben Goldkamp and Dave Beckham, to establish a brewery in the basement of Cugino’s restaurant.
Narrow Gauge officially opened in June 2016 on a 3BBL system, selling draft beer at Cugino’s and crowler/growler fills to go.
We eventually added a canning line and upgraded to a 6BBL system in early 2018. We still brew on that system today and are cranking out as much beer as we can in our tiny basement brewery. We’ve also grown from a team of one to ten in those years.
