After a dozen years in the beer industry and over six years as a professional brewer, training under award winning breweries such as: Hardywood Park, Left Hand, and NoDa Brewing Company, Rachael decided it was time to showcase everything she has learned on a nano scale. Together with her husband Jeff, a professional pilot, they’re taking it back to the small batch!A slight play on words, Pilot Brewing references aviation, but more importantly focuses on small batch experimental beer. Combined with our 3-barrel Pilot system, and our half-barrel “Co-Pilot” system, Pilot Brewing will not focus on any core brands, but instead endeavor to expand the boundaries of craft beer by brewing original recipes that represent traditional and experimental styles.Pilot Brewing will have a strong focus in sourcing local ingredients as well as maximizing community involvement within our brewing practices. We are very excited to be the local neighborhood nano-brewery.
