Brad Hillman started homebrewing in 2006 while living in Brooklyn, NY. After years of pestering by Greig and Brandi, Brad found his way to Asheville, NC in 2015. The three of them started their vision of Hillman Beer in Greig and Brandi’s garage with the Dingaudamnit Dunkelweisen being the first beer brewed. In 2016, construction began at the original location outside Biltmore Village and the rest is history.
Hillman Beer has been honored with a GABF Bronze for Four Fat Baby in 2017, GABF Silver for Hillman ESB in 2018 and GABF Gold for Hillman ESB in 2019.
